Felt like an idiot

So, on Wednesday my cell phone rang at 2:05 p.m. and it was my kid's school.

Me: "Hello"
School: "It's ********* Elementary School"
Me thinking to myself: 40 minutes til school is over...what child is sick.
School: "Did you know there was early dismissal today? Both kids are waiting at the office."



Guess they got out at 1:45 p.m. and I had no idea.

I have frogmarched Joani round to school befor at the end of the summer holidays (i couldnt take much more.... all those weeks of her bein off and her bloody cheek) only to discover I had taken her back a day early...................

oops lol, i think everyones done that before i lost count of the times i've sent rosie to school on inset days lol
i've forgot to pick my neighbours little girl up from nursery she walked through my front to get her and there i was off with the fairies doing my ironing. she saw the funny side.
so at least it was your children not someone elses like me ha
