Femara anyone?

Good morning/evening ladies,

I had a quick question, has anyone tried Femara instead of Clomid?

I did clomid for 3 cycles, and ofcourse nothing happened otherwise I wouldnt be here.

I changed fertility doctors and my new doctor put me on Femara. Anyone have any idea about side effects or have tried it?

Not sure hon my dr mentioned trying it to me as well. I did 9 mo of clomid with no sucess so he thought Femara might work. I have heard the side effects are supposed to be much better than clomid. Let me know how you get along very interested in try it myself.

I tried Femara:
- Very minimal side effects - mostly just feeling hot and a bit of mild O pain - felt like a very strong O.
I liked it very much - just found out I have Celiac so waiting a bit to build up nutrients in my body before going back to Femara.

Puppumom and CW, Thank you ladies... Puppymom I'll keep you updated on my side effects and hopefully good news as well.

It's day 2 now and so far no side effects other than extreme moodiness and feeling down, which could be related to our gloomy weather and my period..
Im sorry to hear you have celiac CW.. hope your recover quickly.
