Finally a diagnosis

Well after having problems since I hit puberty and having been TTC with no success for the last 2 1/2 years I have finally been diagnosed with PCOS! Relieved I finally know what's wrong with me. Wondering what doctors will do next. I'm overweight and have always struggled with losing it since I was 10 so hoping to be put on metformin.

Metformin is great! I haven been on it for 10 weeks and have gone from 12st 2lb down to 11st.4lb not fast weight loss but around 1lb a week . Best of luck for your future x

Oh yeah sorry didn't really answer your question! I went to a fertility specialist and was put on a waiting list for a laparoscopic ovarian diathermy and laparoscopy dye test. This could be something they do for you. Have you had scans on your ovaries yet? x
