Well ladies--I finally gave in and bought a Fetal heart doppler online today. I'm 22 weeks along and didn't think I would need it, but my baby girl doesn't seem to want to move that much. So apart from the little movement that I do get every now and then, I'm driving myself insane with the worrying. (since I'm in between appointments) So....I gave in and bought one! These are safe to use, correct? I know many of you on this forum have one and just wondered if you all thought it was worth the money?

They are definately worth it and don't worry they are safe to use

I LOVE mine. It's amazing. We were TTC for 2 years and the reassurance is totally worth the $$ it cost!

Its only a pain when you can't find the heartbeat which tends to happen when its figiting like crazy during the second trim

I will have to remember that and not get all freaked out when I can't find the heartbeat! :) Thanks!

No problem honey, even midwives struggle at times

There has been many girls on this forum who have invested and loved 'em! Yep, very safe to use, so enjoy! x

I got a cheapy one last time (pre natal listening kit made by Summer) but next time I am going to get a proper doppler.

Def worth it!

I was just wondering where everyone in the uk got theirs from? as i would like one.
There seems to be quite a few to choose from out there and would like to know which ones everyone else has and how good they are? and how much they paid for it? and are the cheapies any good?
sorry lots of questions all in one go there

I got mine from ebay called babybeets very cheap bout £11 i think found heart beat everytime started using it from 14 -16 weeks i think i was . well worth having .........................

I bought one as well and it was a blast to use! Was frustrating sometimes because I couldn't find the heart and all I could hear was her kicking. She hated when I would strap it onto my belly she would fight so hard and just kick the crap out of it LOL. You will be able to find the heartbeat better in late 2nd and 3rd tri because baby is bigger and has less room to wriggle away from you!!! But it still works well in early 2nd tri as well

I ordered mine from motherbliss.com it was £135 and worth every penny!
