Finally got Clomid ... and now got to wait!

First went to the doctors about TTC taking ages last August, then it took till March to get a hospital appointment, followed by tests and finally another appointment today.

The consultant confirmed what I'd thought all along and prescribed clomid - was really chuffed. Then on the way out, she said I have a very small cyst on one ovary and should go back for a check up scan in 5 weeks time. And not to start the Clomid till after that!!

Cos of timings this will mean I miss 2 cycles - grrrr

i know its a pain but they know what they are doing... i conceived on 4th cycle of clomid so good luck xx

hang in there honey! i got pregnant first time on clomid (unfortunately it ended in mc but thats got nothing to do with the clomid) we got another BFP on our third cycle and now we're 14 wks pregnant i wish you lots of luck!

Awww what a pain My consultant prescribed my clomid and made me wait 2 weeks for a letter to confirm i could take it!! Grr!! At least your reason has some science behind it! hee hee

Thanks. I've calmed down now! After waiting so long whats another couple of months - like you say - at least there's a good reason for waiting.
