It has been a long road for my husband and I. We have had 2 previous miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. After being treated for the ectopic pregnancy, we had such difficulty conceiving. We decided to seek a second opinion with a different doctor, and this doctor is amazing. She sent me for a lot of blood testing and we planned a few more tests. Some of my blood results came back pretty odd, so they recommended I take a home pregnancy test before retesting. My period was actually due the next day so it was close enough to test, it was positive!!!

A positive pregnancy test is so bittersweet. Obviously we are both very happy and excited. But we are scared and nervous too. Everytime I use the restroom, I brace myself to see blood.*

But already this pregnancy is a little different than those before. During my previous pregnancies, I barely even felt pregnant, I didn't get sick or anything. This time, my boobs are incredibly sore. And I have yet to need to vomit, but I get nauseous if my stomach is the slightest bit empty. I seem to constantly be eating just to settle my stomach. Any tips on small healthy snacks?

I am hoping these are good sign.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Congratulations! the anxiety must be awful but it's great you are having symptoms, at least this reassures you.

Have you tried crackers, cucumber. Carrot sticks etc for snacks? xxx

Congrats...I am feeling the same with this pregnancy. Boob pain is amazingly rough!

I am keeping popcorn with me. Anything dry seems to settle me the best. I have added some fruits and veggies too. And I always have a bottle of water near by.

I'm 5 weeks after a MC in January. I'm the same, never felt like this before, waking up feeling more sick everyday and boobs are still so sore! Taking it as a good sign, lost all symptoms at 5+5 last time so just want to get to that milestone. Congrats! Xx
