got a definite + OPK around the time I should started taking Vitex at the beginning of this cycle (3rd since BCP), happy I got a positive I don't have to question line closest to blue is control line
An LH surge can last 24-72 hours depending on your cycle... THEN you ovulate 12-36 hours after that.
If your first positive test (Aug 27th) caught the initial LH surge then you are just 48 hours into your surge which isn't necesarily abnormal... When I get a positive I actually test 2-3 times per day during the surge to make sure I can see when it's negative. Best to test between 10am and 8pm so I test at 11am, 4pm, and 8pm during my positive LHs. Then I just stop once it's negative.
But I've only been using OPKs for a couple of months so I'm still trying to work out my cycle pattern. I'm cross referencing with BBT so I could see when I did ovulate for sure according to my positive OPKs.
Sounds like everything is still normal - keep testing! And BD like mad
thanks! pics from noon - got a negative about 10pm (very light line)... BD'd yesterday am, will make sure to do it again tomorrow am! (hubby firefighter works 24hr shifts, won't get home til 8am) so have no choice but every other day
