Alfie has recently decided to start trying to take foods from our plates when we are eating (he eats before us but still sits at the table when we eat) I have on the odd occassion giving him bits of paste or potato, but it seems the meat he is interested in - can he have some? I dont fry anything in our household as my stomach cannot tolerate fried foods, so its usually grilled or oven baked so would it be ok to give him some? He doesnt eat much of it, most ends on the floor!! lol What meats can a (nearly) 7 month old baby have??

Hi

My LO is one day younger than yours and he eats meat and fish. So far he's had steak (didn't really eat much of that though, just sucked on it), pork, chicken, ham and tuna. It's good for them to get the protein that meat provides.

I'd just let him go for it!

They can have any meat at that age. Just make sure its in tiny bites.
