First AF postpartum- what is going on?!?

I hope anyone sees this message!

i am 15 months postpartum and on day 7 of light pink spotting. Every time I wipe it’s light pink. Not getting heavier or lighter whatsoever. I have never had a cycle start like this… it’s really worrying me. Has anyone else experienced this?i had a very unhelpful “friend” suggest that the covid vaccine messed up my cycle (my last covid shot was 12/2021).

100% not pregnant…

Are you on any kind of birth control which may have caused it ? Implantation bleeding ? Sorry just putting a few suggestions out there .

I wouldn’t think it was the covid vaccine if your AFs have been normal upto now.

I am 3 months post partum and last month I had spotting for several days that never got heavier. This month I just started a proper period and it is like normal. I'm not sure if it was my body just trying to work out the kinks or what. Maybe your body was doing the same?

@Babybump87 that was my first AF (or whatever it was) postpartum and first since I had the vaccine in 4/2021. So who knows. No birth control!

@crazy4baby09 ok wow thank you that helps me feel much better! Did you ovulate between the spotting “cycle” and regular AF?

I wasn't tracking anything but I'm assuming I did. This period is not light like it usually is when my cycle was anovulatory.
