first laugh?

hi all
just wondered at what age did your babies begin to laugh? my little violet has been smiling since 6 weeeks but no belly laugh yet.. a few little giggles and lots of cooing and noise making, but im desperate to hear a proper lovely laugh! i keep pulling funny faces, tickling talking in funny voices etc, what tricks did anyone use to encourage their babes?

How old is she? Kathryn only really started laughing consistently about a month-ish ago (don't remember exactly when though, could have been loner). I blow raspberries on Kathryn's sides and neck which she laughs at most times, and If I turn away and spin back saying "Ah-BOO!" she thinks it's the funniest thing ever and laughs every time at that one. She also thinks it's quite funny if I smash my toe or something. Peekaboo also works very often as well as silly faces an noises (if she's in the mood, otherwise she'll just smile which is just as good anyways). Good luck getting your LO to laugh!

We had our first laugh about a week ago but only had little giggles since. I think its usually about 5 months ish.

shes 12 weeks 3 days so maybe a while to go til laughing.. will still try though!

Joseph was about 14 weeks the first time, I was just washing under his neck with cotton wool and it must have tickled as he found it hilarious! I think it was a few weeks later that it became more of a regular thing xx

A few days ago, when we were changing her nappy, but every baby is different and i know Halle is being a bit slow with lifting her head up... it'll happen in their own time!

Jasper started trying to laugh around 8 weeks, but it sounded like this weird, almost coughing 'ha...ha...ha....ha"

He still doesn't always sound like a proper laugh and he's 4 months old.. maybe he just has a weird laugh though!
