first post partum period- very light.

Just had my first pp period with my daughter. Very light, 3-4 days tops. This is crazy, it used to be a week at minimum and very heavy and painful. Another weird factor is that her first birthday is one week away and I'm just having my first AF. Does this possibly mean hormonal imbalance?

My first few pp periods were lighter and then gradually got worse until they returned to what they had been. I think it's your body stabilizing after pregnancy/breastfeeding. Hope that helps.
