First pregnancy after miscarriage - advice please?!

3 days ago I found out I was pregnant.
I want to be really excited but I am finding it hard, in October just been my first pregnancy resulted in miscarriage at 5 weeks.
If my calculations are right yesterday makes me 4 weeks pregnant. My last miscarriage my hcg levels weren't doubling and were very low my whole pregnancy. I'm so worries I'm going to have the same thing this time, its always in the back of my head. I'm trying not to sorry. I haven't had any symptoms or anything. I go for my first lot of bloods today. What are the chances like for a miscarriage to happen again ? Any positive stories anyone? Thanks!!!

From what I read your chances of having another miscarriage is the same as if you didn't already have one. The odds of it happening are low so try and stay positive. Unfortunately, these things are not in our control and all we can do is take it day by day and celebrate the milestones. I hope this is your sticky bean!

How did you go with your bloods? how are you feeling today? You will find lots of positive stories Hun. Your concerns and emotions are completely understandable. We have all been there. I'm sure your LO will be just fine. Hang in there. Celebrate each milestone that you have. Getting past where you MC last... Getting through another day... Another week... Having your first scan. The first few weeks are by far the longest and most nerve wrecking. But it does get easier. I'm sure everything will be just fine sweetie. Xx

Hi, how are you today, I believe you are about the same as me, i am 4 weeks and 4 days,

I have been through this before and I am going through it again now!

I have DS 11 DD 8 and DS 2.

Before my youngest was born, I had MMC at 8 weeks in July 09. When I became PG with my son, I was constantly worried from the day I found out i was PG until the day I had him.

it is only natural to worry, but as a previous post says, you need to take each day at a time.

I am now 41 and very very cautiusly PG with number 4, after having a loss a year ago today when my LO was born sleeping at 13 weeks and another loss at 9 weeks in September.

I am now 4 weeks PG again and extremely worried, I have a scan booked at 7 weeks.

A big part of my problem now is my age, but I am also taking a progesterone supplement in this pregnancy and attending acupunture once a week.

Just because your first ended in MC it doesnt mean this one will. You need to try and think positive, I know it is difficult, but I have been there and have come out the other side.

Stay strong, think positive and look after yourself and hopefully everything will be fine.
