First pregnancy- MMC

It has been 2 weeks since I had the miscarriage. Repeat HCG level was 158 on Tuesday. My midwife wants me to come back in 1 week and hopefully my HCG will be less than 5 by that time. I took a HPT yesterday and can barely see a line anymore and the bleeding has finally stopped, so glad my body is getting back to normal!

Repeat level today at just over 3 weeks since miscarriage was 55. Midwife says it is going down normally and will recheck in 2 weeks. It should definitely be below 5 by then. Just wish it would hurry up!

Oh lord its taking its time isnt it? Hopefully itll be down to 0 for you soon, know it sounds crazy but it brought me so much relief to see negative tests!

Thanks for the support Lora! HCG on Friday was at 13. Its been 6 weeks now. Will recheck next week and I sure hope it's at 0 by then, or better yet I get my period before then!

Here's an update in case anyone is looking for answers as I know I searched a lot for other people's stories regarding miscarriage and HCG levels- my level was 5 on October 18th and today it was 2. It has been almost 9 weeks since my miscarriage. My midwife says the level of 2 is low enough that I do not need to get it checked again. I have also been having spotting on and off this whole time and I have not had any spotting for 5 days now! So here's to hoping that my cycle will return to normal. I'm still undecided wether we will TTC right away or wait for AF first.

Another update for anyone interested: I got my first visit from AF on November 6th, about 2 months after my miscarriage. I then got my BFP on our second cycle trying! It had previously taken me a year to conceive so I was very shocked it happened so fast. I hope this can give some hope to anyone who goes through the same thing!
