First round of Clomid in the UK

Hi

I'm in the UK, I started taking 50mg of Clomid last night, this is my first round. My doctor has given me 3 months worth and isn't going to see me until day 21 of second cycle for blood work.

Has anyone else just been left to it? It seems most ladies get scans and reguar check ups to check follicles/eggs ??

Hi,

I am in my first round of Clomid and I went for a scan and need to do bloods when I have a positive reading on OPK's. I think it really depends on your PCT and what they offer.

It all depends on the individual doctors. I have scans on CD11 or 12 (depending on when I can get in) but I don't have blood work done.

I'm in aust and I'm the same. My dr gave me 3 months worth and lots of pathology requests so I can get bloodworm on my day 21s. If I'm not pregnant by three cycles I'll go back in. Some don't need scans etc. I'm telling myself its a good thing that he doesn't want me wasting my cash on scans. After all what is it going to tell u that you won't already know at day 21?
I'm on cd 22 and I have no sign that I O'd! This is strange to me as I can do it on my own but usually very late in my 40 day cycle! So I assumed that clomid would shorten my cycle straight away as it was less work for me. Annoyed!

She doesnt want to see me on my first cycle, so I'm back to temping and CBFM to see if I can track myself. Then second month CD21 bloods.

Im actually quite excited that I might be able to see things on my chart after charting for 5 months and not being able to make sense of it

Hi. I am also in the uk. I have done one cycle of chlomid 50mg days 2-6. I am currently waiting for either a BFP or af.

I have not had scans, just day 21 bloods on all 3 cycles (although I think I will only have done two by the time I go back and see my fs in early feb).

I think it really does depend on if it us a go, an fs and also the pct.
