Hey ladies, I've been lurking for a long time.

Dh and I been ttc since July 2011. My periods range between 32-55 + days, lately more like 33-35. I waited since aug for a referral to a obgyn saw him, a few weeks ago. I had my hsg today, all clear and open.

Dh - 2 sa now both low sperm and motility. Taking fertility aid now almost 3 month. He had an ultrasound down this week, waiting on results.

My question, usually we dtd every other or daily during fertile window. Should we switch to every 3 days since he has low sperm? I plan on using opk again this cycle.

Thanks!!

I'm no expert or anything, but if it were me (and we've been TTC since July/August of 2011 too), I'd keep the same every other day pattern. Id be so scared to miss the ovulation window.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about.
How come your dh hasn't done a sa?

I think it's a mix of things. He doesn't want it in his medical record (he's in the military), but I think that since everything with me has come back fine he's scared to hear it's him "holding us back" so to speak. I beg him with every BFN to go take the test. I even put it on my Christmas list lol

Ahh sorry to hear that. Hopefully he will change his mind :)

My hubby has exactly the same issues as yours, and I have PCOS and was having cycles of 55 to over 80 days when I was trying for my little boy. I had read that with male factor problems you should do it less often or you aren't giving the sperm a chance to replenish properly - the month I conceived we only did it 3 times - with a 3 day and then a 4 day gap. So it may be worth a try. Good luck!
