Fleece liners - right and wrong way round?

We've started using fleece liners but we seem to be having a lot of leaks. Just wondering whether there's a right and wrong way to lay the liner? One side feels very slightly furrier than the other side, but not hugely. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The ones I use can be used any way up, I can't imagine yours would be different. Maybe it's the nappies?
