Hi everyone,
I've recently started offering my lo a few spoonfuls a day, I've also frozen some food in ice cube trays following hv's advice. Only problem is I forgot if she mentioned how I should cook them once I take them out of the freezer, may still habe a touch of baby brain haha. Help please? x

I cooked up a load of veg, mashed it down and froze it in ice cube trays. Now I either take it out a few hours in advance and let it defrost in the fridge, or pop it in the microwave. If I microwave it then I give it a good stir and check it's just warm, not hot. I have no idea if this is the recommended way of doing things, but it's what I do and seems to work!

That's exactly what I do too. I know other moms who did it this way too. It's such a time saver to have the cubes ready to go!i love it.

Thanks, I usually give him some of the baby jars cos he likes mango and that's fine for now cos he's only months but i'd like to try him on veg etc for when he starts having regular meals. x
