for anyone who has had a water birth

im planning on a water birth and just wonderd if anyone would share their experience?

My sister had a water birth with her first & said it was the best decision she had made. She felt a lot calmer & relaxed about the whole thing.
She did want a water birth with her second but the baby's heartbeat dropped so she couldnt have one & afte she said how different the births were, she said it was more painful with her second x

I didn't have a water birth but I wish I had. I know roughly what it would feel like in terms of pain as I only had gas and air which is what you have when you have a water birth (if you want it) but I've heard it's very relaxing and helps ease the strength of contractions. If I had another baby I will defo want to have a water birth. Good luck

Sadly, this could happen... Water births seem like a good idea, they look much more relaxing.

I have it on good authority that they have a fishing net to fish em out with!
