Hi ladies,
I don't know if you've seen this before, but a friend sent it to me, and I wanted to share. As a FTM about to go in for a scheduled c-section next week, I found it to be an amazing link that shows the direction c-sections can be taken in if you ask and your hospital is willing to accommodate your requests.
I was initially disappointed when I found out I would be going in for a section, but have since begun to come to terms with it. But I was still caught up in the idea that I would be missing out on valuable aspects like proper skin-to-skin time, delayed cord clamping, etc. because it was going to be a surgery. I plan to ask my OB for as many of these things shown in the video as possible.
Although the sections of the second link are currently under construction, this site provides a guide that helps you communicate your desires to your doctor. I hope the section is updated soon!
I found these links helpful, and hope someone else does too!![flower :flower: :flower:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/flower.gif)
