I am planning to make my bottles up using the method of adding powder to a small amount of near boiling water then topping with cold boiled water to make it the correct temperature. I just wondered if anyone had any rough guidance on the ratios of hot and cold water needed!? Eg for a 4oz bottle would 1oz hot and 3oz cold be OK? And what about for 5 or 6oz bottles? I mean I'm sure I could work it out by trial and error but if someone already has worked out the quantities that work it would save some time!! Thanks if anyone can help xx

Iv just started doing this as I thought the same it's the way the prep does it. Dd is 7 months so at the moment I'm making up 7oz bottles and found 3oz boiling with 4oz cooled makes it the perfect temp for her but she does like it quite warm! Will have to do 4oz for the days and not sure yet the best ratio based on that

We do 4oz of cooled water (stored in fridge) top up with 3oz boiling water for a 7oz bottle at perfect temp x
