For those of you with mixed race/ darker skinned LOs

What colour is your LOs belly button?!!! Inside his is a lot darker than his skin colour just wondering if everyone elses is too.

i'm half white half black caribbean, my oh is white, my little one is really pale but has a black belly button lol, asked gp and he said it is a birthmark...? but my belly button is a lot darker so i think its normal

Interesting question, IM half African American and half Norwegian &Dutch (white basically lol) OH is white (Scottish and who knows what else) my daughter has a pale belly button and my son has a spot on his belly button that is like 2 shades darker.

We're middle eastern so have very olive skin, so Aymens belly button is the same colour as the rest of his body

My lo is mixed race his dads a britsh Asian and has very olive skin but lo is pale and his belly button is the same x

My baby is mixed, Jamaican & White British, his belly button is way darker than his skin tone, in fact it looks really dirty at times. LOL

Im i mixed race jamaican/english and mine is slightly darker. Lo is mixed race to but more black and his is ALOT darker. Almost dirty looking as kglo has said lmao x

My LO is half Maori half Scottish and is olivly, his belly button is the same colour!

My daughter is half Indian half white British and her belly button is same colour as rest of her, she does had slightly darker skin by her nails though

I wasn't worrying as such just wondering. It's a lot darker and yeah sometimes i think it looks dirty. lol he's got a few birth marks, one of those mongolian blue mark things. he's also got this mark on his thumb which is like nothing ive seen before, literally just looks like some dirt but I've cleaned and cleaned and it's still there lol!

My Lo's belly button does have darker skin in it, i've now checked! lol. She also has the mongolian blue spot and strawberry marks. My DH has a dark mark on his finger, looks a bit like dirt, but has just been there all his life. He is black though, not mixed race. I'm not sure if any of this helps? My LO has gradually been getting darker as she gets older, and it usually starts with her nail beds getting darker and the rest of her follows!!

Thanks yeah I've heard about the nail beds Daniels are pretty dark compared to the rest of him so I guess that means the rest of his skin will follow?It's wierd isn't it all the marks on them!

My daughters nail beds are darker, it looks Like the colour is now going up her fingers, her bellybutton isnt dark though although her ears are alot darker than the rest of her!! X

Thomas is mixed race (part Maori) and he is darker than both his dad and I. We noticed his belly button and his nutsack are really really brown!

Yeahh the genitals are HEAPS darker lol. And his hands????
