For those who have applied for DLA

Hi, after months of filling out the form and getting all the paperwork to back up our claim we finally sent off our DLA application 2 weeks ago. I was just wondering how long people had to wait to get a reply????

I sent ours 3rd May and they received it on the 5th may (text me the 10th saying they had recieved it) and I had a letter on the 20th May saying it had been approved and when I actually checked my bank they had paid me on the 18th so it was around 2 weeks.

It does take up to 8 weeks though so I wouldn't start to worry just yet.
