Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me popping in from first tri.

For the ladies who know they're having a girl did you have morning sickness? I'm just curious, I have a DS almost 2 and I'm 9w4d with number 2. I had no morning sickness at all with DS and I have had maybe one really nauseas day and several queasy days this time.

I'm not overly fussed on what I have this time just curious if many people do have girls with little to no morning sickness? Thanks lovely mamas :)

No morning sickness really with either. It was pretty much the same! Last one was a boy, this one is a girl. X

With my DD 1 I had no morning sickness, I'm pregnant with DD2 now and still didn't have morning sickness, I think most of the time it can just be a coincidence :)

First DD I was quite sick and nauseous. This is second DD and I hardly had any at all. They've both been completely different pregnancies yet both girls!!

3 boys...
DS1 - nausea on 2 occasions only about 11weeks. No vomiting.
DS2 - no nausea or vomiting but an aversion to chocolate :(
DS3 - lot of nausea until about 13weeks (lost 7kg!) but only vomited 3 times. Aversion to chocolate and banana.

I have a son and a daughter and pregnant again with another boy and I have never had ms x

I had morning sickness with all 3, my girl who is my 2nd right through out, with this one a boy still through out but not as bad, something usually triggers it and it happens at anytime during the day, i dont thinkmthe sex of the bub has anything to do with it really, it either happens or it dosnt , depends on the pregnancy

I had morning sickness With both my girls up till 22 weeks. This time I'm expecting a boy and morning sickness has been less severe but has followed me till 33 weeks.

Not me but a friend had severe morning sickness with her first the whole way through pregnancy. She then had her second without a single bit of sick, both boys.

My aunt had twin boys and wasn't sick once.

I don't believe it's anything to do with gender at all. I think it depends on the individuals body and the pregnancy itself.

I had really bad ms from 8 to 16 weeks and I'm having a boy!
Everyone was convinced it was a girl as I was so ill... Midwife says it's an old wives tale and everyone's different

Will u be finding out what ur having?

I don't think MS has anything to do with gender to be honest - especially after reading the above comments. But I'm a FTM and having a girl. I did have MS (severe nausea but no vomiting) during the first tri.

#1 bad morning sickness from 12-20w (i had 1 week i threw up constantly) it was a girl
#2 mild sickness 6-14w (totally different pregnancy) it was a girl
#3 i have HG i was constsntly throwing up from 7-12w then few relapse times. Again completely different pregnancy. Everyone told me a boy... im not sure. Wont find out till nov.

I was the opposite :)

DD mild sickness from 6-14 weeks
DS severe sickness from 5-23 weeks

I don't think we'll be finding out Moomin. We didn't with DS and I really loved the surprise :)

I have a DD already and a wee girl on the way and had no morning sickness with either x

I never actually got sick with dd and was sick noght n day up to 14 weeks this time, a boy. I think the difference is more notable! Xx
