formula feeding and poo!

My little boy is eight weeks old and has been on Aptamil from 3 days old. We have recently moved from the ready made carton milk to powder. This week his one/two a day poo has changed to six/seven poos a day. They were runny for a day or two but have now settled back to the usual texture.

Has anyone else experienced this?
He is a happy baby, no temperature, no fussier than normal xx

Probably just his digestive system adjusting to the change. Ive heard Aptamil poos can be quite runny and explosive! As long as they are not watery or causing nappy rash then I would say its fine. Its common for babies to poo as often as after each feed or as infrequently as once a week! Both are normal. xx

Yep my LO was exactly the same when we started introducing formula. She was EBF to 15 wks and we gradually introduced formula. My LO is on Cow and Gate ready made but we had 3-4 days of 6-7 poops. This then settled back to the usual 1-3 a day x
