Hi I was just wondering about sma gold formula milk….once I’ve made up baby’s milk and its cooled, stuck in the fridge etc

when its time to feed him I heat it in boiled water and give it to him, the question I’m asking is once its been heated how long does it last for? He’s kinda slow at feeding and breaking his wind, I’ve been told by a friend it only lasts for half an hour then you have to bin it, is this true? I know you cant re heat it but it doesn’t say on the tin how long it lasts for.

any help would be great

thanks

Im not sure but i went by binning after 2 hours but i feed at room temp and add the formula to cooled boiled water which has been in the bottle and prepared the evening before. I followed this rule when he was a newborn when he was more fussy with feeding and decided he didnt want it after making up the bottle.....so id keep it for a couple of hours incase he changed his mind and then bin it.

If i warmed them up i would probably bin after an hour or so...but if LO is still feeding i dont think id bin the bottle and make a fresh one...id just keep on going till he was done.

Up to you...do what you feel is right. There's so many do#s and dont that change weekly its hard to keep up.
