Hi, my four year old has been complaining of his neck hurting off and on for a little while but this morning he woke up he seemed fine for a little while and then he started crying about his neck hurting, it really seems to be hurting him now, but he does not have a fever or anything. I dont know what it could be, except for maybe growing pains and I have no idea how to make him anymore comfortable. Any ideas or has anyone else gone through this? Thanks.

I'm not sure hun, but I would gave NHS direct or your GP a call to put your mind at ease. Hope he feels better soon x

Oh thank you for your response, I did give his doctor a call and they said to just give him some motrin and wait a while to see if he gets better. Now i have finally forced him to take the medicine, I just dont know what else to do to make him comfortable.

Is he distressed with it? if he is I would get him checked out but if not hopefully the medicine will work and he will forget about it xx
