Hi lovely Mums,

90% of the time I'm feeding my 7 month old fresh veg that I've pureed & frozen, and various breakfasts, fruit, etc.

About twice a week when I'm in a hurry I resort to using HiPP organic jar food, but at this stage he's only needing about half a jar. It says on the jar that it can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hrs.......this is fine but I don't really want to HAVE to give him the 2nd half of the jar the next day.

So my question is (sorry it's longwinded), do you think it would be OK to decant the remainder of the jar to a plastic baby tub and freeze then use whenever over the coming weeks?

Any advice or thoughts very gratefully received!

I would think that's perfectly fine. I would probably just take out what you want to freeze right when you open the jar and then feed him what's left, rather than freezing the leftover bit you've already been dipping the spoon into. It probably isn't a huge deal, but it will limit the introduction of bacteria.
