Freezing cauliflower cheese

We made some cauliflower cheese yesterday with dinner and i blended some with potatoes for Malakai to eat, he loved it but i wondered.
as the cheese sauce is made with milk in a pan (obviously warmed up) does this mean it cant be frozen then re heated later on?
i know its a silly question but id rather know for sure

thanks, i just know you shouldnt reheat milk once its been heated, didnt know wether it still applied with this.
