FSH Question???

My doctor did cd 3 blood work and stated that my FSH levels were a bit high.

Anybody experiencing this??? What does this mean??

I am on 100mg of clomid....I just got a HUGE BFN today....so I am now waiting for I plan to start my 2nd cycle of clomid on cd 5-9 after she shows her ugly face.

My FSH level on cd 3-4 was 9....soory I forgot to include that info...

I hope someone can help.

Hey Mah

What is your age? 9 is not too bad and it can fluctuate a bit month to month too say by about 2 points, its not all that reliable and many clinics prefer antral follicle count and make a comparison between that and FSH and a couple of other factors to establish if there are problems. Like i say depends on your age but its not too bad really so try not to worry unless you get something say over 12ish really.

Wouldnt worry too much then hun, to me that doest sound tooooo bad for 35, i am just 33 and at 32 and a 1/2 my fsh was around 6.5 - 6.9 on occasions i was told it was fine. And during stimulation i had 14 follies and 10 eggs so really wouldnt worry mate x

I was told that anything over 10 was high - so i think 9 is fine.
i was 30 when I was tested and my level was 8.7 - and I was told that was perfectly fine - and thats v near yours. so I think your Dr was a bit harsh!

Elevated levels of FSH on CD 3 means the egg supply is getting low. I also heard above 10 is high so you are in the normal range.

I'd say you're ok to at 9. 10 is what I have heard is getting high so take a deep breath and relax! Happy
