I was just wondering if any of your LO's have measured so big, he measured 31cm at 28 weeks too, so 3cm ahead but now he's 5cm ahead . The midwife didn't seem overly bothered as I go for a growth scan at 34 weeks anyway. She did say before that its not acurate an could just be because I already had abit of a tummy but im starting to panic now that he's gonna come out the size of an elephant (ouch!)

I heard that the bigger they are, the quicker they plop out :D That's what a colleague told me when she realised people panic about bigger babies :D X

Also another thing to remember is your fundal height can measure bigger due to the position of the baby or it can just measure bigger and the baby be a normal size. I wouldnt worry yet.

Mine measured 5 weeks ahead, 32cm at 27 weeks. The midwife said that I have a 'generous' amount of amniotic fluid thought nothing to be worried about.

Like the ladies have said, it depends on baby's position, your position, if you have a full bladder/stomach.

Another midwife measured me (there were two in the room) and she got 30cm, so inacurate! x

im measuring at 37, and im not fully 34 yet. Just had an US 2 days ago and Hes right on target size wise (besides short femurs.. long story ><) , right ammount of fluid and everything. Its prob either cuz u had a little belly b4 geting pregnant like ur midwife said (just like me) or the way babies laying, fullness of bladder, etc. I wouldnt be too worried about it.

Sorry maybe this is a stupid question but where do you see the Fundal height? Is there an abbreviation for it? I looked through my maternity notes but cannot seem to find it :( :flower:
