Fundal heights

I had my midwife appointment at 12 weeks 5 days and she said my measurement was 6 cm from pubic bone to top of my uterus. I know after 20 weeks, your fundal height is supposed to match the number of weeks you are, +/- 2 cm. Does this mean my uterus is gonna grow 14 cm over my pubic bone over the next 7 weeks or am I measuring small?

Yup your uterus will grow a ton between now and 20 weeks - that’s why most people struggle with round ligament pain most significantly during the 2nd trimester - your uterus is growing exponetially!

Typically at 12 weeks the uterus is only just above the pubic bone so 6cm above is quite far already. It will definitely do a lot of growing in the next 8 weeks
