Just wanting to show some love, here's my beautiful fur babies...

Darcey - husky x german shephard (the smaller one)

Dakota - northern inuit

They are both so awesome with my son I couldn't ask for better dogs (although it would be nice if they didn't like rolling in fox poop )

Anyway, here's my babies!

the shihtzu is called Dave (he only has 1 eye)
the pug is called pete
he cat is called squeak

all 3 are amazing with my little man (well pete is a bit daft he barks when LO cries )

Oh my goodness, they are gorgeous!! I love pugs, they are adorable! So nice to hear that our fur babies are good with are actual babies. I was forever being asked what we were going to do with them when baby arrived... duh!

Here is my baby, Victor, who sadly passed away in January. He was 9 years old and had cancer. Was a very tough time for me. He will always be my first baby so had to put him up, he was the love of my life.

Aliss, is this beautiful doggy an akita? what an amazing temperment with your little one, especially around food! I hope mine are that good with a toddler

I must admit, in the first few weeks I found it hard. I think it was all the hormones, and yes they do silly things sometimes but they're my babies and my good luck charms! We were TTC and conceived as soon as we got Dakota... and she's my "little baby girl as I'm outnumbered in my house

They are pretty awesome company when OH is away too, much better than most humans!

RIP little Victor, losing a fur baby is one of the worst things ever. I have been more upset over my furbabies than relatives. My childhood dog Meg who I'd had from about 5, died the week before mother's day last year. I no longer lived at home, but still found it devastating when I got the phone call.

She had been poorly for a long time, and although it still upsets me I know she's in a better place, as is Victor. So thanks Jennifurball, for furbabies past & present... here is my beautiful Meggy

Thanks! He is a Shiba Inu so closely related. We got Simba a year before TTC to make sure he was raised with food safety and socialized well before the baby came. We never made Simba stay "away" from the baby, they were always allowed to interact safely although he stayed away the first 4 months due to very nasty colic. Lots of daily exercise and play interaction made them enjoy each other rather than Simba feel 'shut out'.

Scooby (3) and scrappy (2). Scrappy is scoobys brother from another mother! Scooby is sooo outgoing and actually annoying as he wants to be into everything but scrappy is so mellow and has enough wit to stay out of Emily's way!
