Further along than i thought!!!!!!!

Okay guys, so here's my situation. I've been loving in Boston for 5 months now. I moved over here purely because the baby father lives over here and although we are not together I am adament that he is there for the birth, also, his grandmother hasn't got long left on this earth and he believes the the baby is the only thing holding her down and he really wants her to meet the baby before she passes. So me, my mum and my brother moved over here and plan to stay here until the baby is 6 weeks old.
Anyway, moving on! I was with my doctors in England for three and a half months and so they got me my first ultra scans and that's where they told me my due date. The thing was that when they transfered my information and documents, my due date got mixed up with another patients and so when i went to my first doctors appointment they told me that I was 11 weeks instead of 14 and that that's what they had in my file from England and that there must have been some kind of misunderstanding. I just presumed that I must have misheard before and thought nothing of it.
I had a doctors appointment today where she did another ultra scan. She said that the baby seemed to be more developed than 34 weeeks and asked wether there was any possibility that I could be further along than 34 weeks. She rang my doctors in England and asked if they had a copy of my files, they did and it turns out that I am in fact 37 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have read about these kind of mistakes on forums and websites but never thought this would actually happen to me! Anyway I only have 3 weeks left and it also explains why my bump is sooooo huge and why my hormone levels and why my symptoms and cravings are different.

I can't believe that!! Must have been a big shock but it must be kinda nice knowing you've not got so long left? I'd be pretty happy if someone told me I was 3 weeks further than I am right now cos I want my little girly here!! xxx

Of course it's a huge shock but I am kinda glad that it's earlier. I was starting to panic that I was going to have to push out a mahoosive baby!!!! My belly is soooo huge and it has come as some
Kind of relief . But OMG my baby is coming in 3 WEEKS!!!!!!! I need to pack my hospital bag!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyy

I know it's good that I don't have to wait that long and ive got most of it but some major things I'm Missing like a crib!!!!!!!!!! The babies father has just started to repaint one we found in a charity shop, but if the baby comes early he or she isn't going to have a place to sleep for a week or so.
I was sooooo pissed when they told me what had happened! Got over it quickly though as I realized I had no time to be angry ! I have so much stuff to do!

Can't wait though though I am kinda scared!

better than having nothing to do and time dragging and im sure you will get the crib done in time
if not do you have a moses basket or you not planing to use one of those?
my cotbed still isnt up!was meant to of got it up today but the person who was gunna do it let me down so if she comes now my baby will have no where to sleep either lol

Thanks!!! And I'm sure it will be fine too it's just that its my first baby and I'm naturally nervous. I know it sounds stupid but for 5 moths I've had the idea in my head that I was hopefully going to be 17 when the baby was born and now I'm definatly going to be 16 which is taking a bit of getting used to. I just text the dad and he said the first coat is almost dry but he needs some other bolts because it didn't come with certain ones. Reckons it will take another day or two. Early babies run in mine and the babies fathers family so I'm hoping that trait is goi g to skip our generation!

aww age is nothing but a number at the end of the day as long as you got your baby in your arms everything will come naturally to you if your worried about that part..and you will have your baby for your 17th so itl be extra special she can celebrate with her mummy

aha early babies run in my family too..my mum was a few weeks early and i was like a month early so this baby is already late in a way lol gunna be setting the new late trend by the looks of things!x

wow what a jump from 34 weeks to 37 weeks!!! That must have been exciting and scary all at the same time! Not long to go till you've got your LO now!!

I thought as I only have 3 weeks left (maybe less)begore the baby comes I thought that you guys would like to guess the sex of the baby as I don't know what I'm having!!!!!

i dont think you can tell by bump shape tho lol
everyone down the streets stops me saying its a boy (havnt had 1 person say its a girl yet)
but yeh i hope shes a girl after all this now lol x
