Fussing!

This may sound weird but the past 3-4 days my newborn has been fussing big style when having a feed. She eventually goes on and feeds but spends flippin ages kind of licking and playing with my nipple first!

She does it on both sides and sometimes cries then after I've tried her on each breast and she's finished messing about she feeds!

What's that about????L

I have heard one thing about this, fussing at the breast increases supply because it stimulates the nipple, maybe this is just your baby's way of doing that. If baby feeds okay after fussing I wouldn't worry and it is likely to pass
