I lost a lot of weight and was happy I increased my calorie intake to maintain and my weight has slowly came back I want to loose 2 kg I'm currently eating around 1200 calorie and it just won't go down I don't really do any cardio but have a very active lifestyle and do sit ups etc. it's really starting to get me down cz I've lost this weight before but can't now. Everybody is different. I know that if I don't exercise rigorously 6 days per week AND watch what I am eating, I gain weight like crazy. I know that I have a hard time taking off weight also. Sometimes it just takes a long time to learn your body. The standard is basically to burn more calories than you consume. You may have to do more cardio, as it's probably the easiest way to burn fat. I'd say just find a schedule that suits you, and it may take some trial and error. 2 kg is really not that much, your body can fluctuate that much within a day anyways.

I've always said, stop looking at the scale. Too women women focus on a number and they don't realize that muscle weighs much more than fat. If you are gaining muscle, your weight could stay the same, or even go up. Cardio burns fat, sit ups build muscle.

Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. A pound of fat is the same as a pound of muscle. Muscle is more dense than fat so a pound of muscle will take up less space than a pound of fat.

You will probably find its not even a gain in fat - if you had a meal high in sodium then you may be retaining water. If you've done any form of new exercise you could be retaining water in the small tears in your muscles.

1200 seems rather low just to lose 2kg. Try upping your intake a bit.
