GD- does it get worse with the progress of pregnancy

Hello Ladies,

Hope you all are doing great and your bumps too. I was diagnosed with GD at 26th week and up until last week sugar levels were controlled by diet but since last 4 days my readings are shooting uo and there hasn't been any changes in my diet. Has anyone experienced this?

Yep, it's normal for them to get higher later in pregnancy. When is your next check up? Make sure you mention it. They may do a blood test x

Yes as you get more pregnancy hormones further on it gets worse. The MFM told me I'd have to increase my insulin probably several times before the end.

Thank you ladies. I saw the specialist midwife today and she thinks it is more related to my late eating habits so I need to wait and eat early till Monday and then she will decide on Monday.
