GD with your first when did you give birth?

I'm having my first and now been diagnosed with GD. So just curious to see when others with GD gave birth with their first?

Hello - Im from the UK and they said they wouldnt let me go past 40 weeks. Had my baby at 37+6 after an emergency section (due to olighydramosis not the GD) xx

I'm interested in the answer to this too. I haven't been diagnosed with GD but I'm going in today for further testing as I'm showing signs. I'm 39 weeks on saturday.

I have been advised that at 36wks i will get an induction date for around 38wks, insulin controlled. It's around 39wks for diet controlled xx

I am in the us and had diet controlled Gd. I had a 39 wks induction date but went spontaneously into labor and delivered our lo at 38w 1d.

I've been diagnosed as borderline gestational diabetic and also have polyhydramosis (sorry I don't know how to spell it properly.. It means too much fluid around the baby) and I have been told ill be being induced at 38 weeks.
