Gender prediction from timing of sex

Sorry about TMI, but just wondered how accurate this was...

As my husband works away we only managed to DTD on the Mon and Sat of the second week of my cycle (days 12 and 17). The 2 scans I've had (8w and 12w) dated my pregnancy from the Friday, and then the Thurs. Presumably this means I got pregnant from the Monday deed?? And therefore the sperm were 3-4 days old by the time I conceived? So will it be a girl?

I was using a CBFM but unhelpfully that month it never said Peak, just high for days 9 onwards! Had assumed I hadn't ovulated but must have done as got BFP!

Wold love to hear anyone's experiences / predictions? Have attached 12w scan pic.

Shettles cut off would imply girl , but I'm not so sure it works I know plenty that did a cut off and had boys and some that dtd bang on ovulation and got a girl ur scan pic looks very boy to me, what were u hoping for?

Although I never planned by shettles it did work for us. I ovulated close to DTD and had a boy and my second unplanned I ovulated much later than I thought and DTD a few days before then and am having a girl. I still believe its just luck.

I think your scan looks very boyish actually.

Practically another girl would be easier... But I agree scan looks like a boy to me too!
I'd be happy with a boy, I just didn't want two boys running me ragged! One of each would do fine. Guess at least another couple of weeks til we can tell!

My DS is quite boisterous and is quite rough but he's so independent loving and sweet on the other hand. I would have loved two boys! Good luck and be sure to update

That nub looks very boyish to me but bub kind of curled up so hard to tell the true angle.
I DTD two days before O and one day after with my last pregnancy and with the withdrawal method so no ejaculation inside me was we weren't actively ttc and he's a boy, my 3rd amazing little boy.

Your timing is conducive for either boy or girl given the right conditions. I actually got preg by accident a full 7 days prior to when I would normally ovulate so I'm definitely predicting a girl baby. I'll find out tomorrow. As for the pic of your ultrasound, I'd definitely say BOY! The angle of the nub is very boy like to me.

I think boy from this one ( I'm definitely no expert though).. with ds our timing of bd was smack on ovulation. I'm not 100 % this time when I ovulated but we bd possibly on and the two days after and we're having a girl.

Just wanted to update! I was right, my baby is a girl.
