Gest diabetes

Hiya i'm just wondering, does anybody have gest diabetes? I only found out yesterday, the hospital messed up my GTT results, so i should of found out 5 and a half weeks ago

What do you all eat? I've got an appt tomorrow at a clinic so i'm hoping i'l find out more then, till then i'm just doing the obvious things like cutting out sugary things, but i'm confused about carbs and stuff like that

any replies will be appreciated thanks

iv got GD , the specialist just told me to cut out sugar and see if that could keep my blood sugar levels down, and if not i would of had to take some type of pills or insulin. i just have to test my sugar levels by pricking my finger with this pen looking thing , and put a drop of blood onto a strip in a lil machine and it will say what it is. i have to do that before breakfast, and again 2 hours after iv eaten, same with lunch and dinner. but my results have been okay so only have to do that twice a week now . might be different where you are but thats all i have to do =)
