Hello 
I am 6 weeks pregnant with my third baby.
I was diagnosed late on with GD in my first pregnancy (36 weeks)
With my second daughter I refused a GTT and tested my sugars from 14 or so weeks. My sugars went a bit iffy at 16 weeks and I referred myself in for help at 20 weeks.
I did get through the entire pregnancy just on diet control (it was a real struggle)
I don't know how early to expect it to kick in this time or if I should really be resigned to ending up on medication.
Anyone got experiences with subsequent GD pregnancies?
- if it is relevant I am 28, quite slim and have no family history of diabetes!
