Gets bored easily?

Alex seems to get bored very easily when eating, any tips on how to keep him entertained for longer? Im sur he would eat more if it wasnt for getting bored.

Hi,
Archie is very easily distracted when eating, the dog, the tv, oh, you name it he's interested in it at meal times! So we just try to be more interesting than the surroundings, you know the type of thing "your SO clever" singing and talking to him and generally looking and acting daft! and the choo choo train spoon action is favoured by DH!!!!!! If any one could see us at meal times they'd think we had lost the plot!

I have cbeebies on, pretend the spoon is a train, plane, car, Give him a spoon to bash, give him some finger food to bash/chew on and sneak mouthfuls in. Make faces, funny noises etc. xx
