Hi,
I have a 1 year old son and am 1kg below pre preg weight! I am pretty happy with this but my body has definitely changed. even though i weigh less I still look bigger. I think my fat distribution has changed.
I am wondering how much lower than pre preg weight did other mums have to get to look like you did before bubs? My stomach definitely looks bigger now.
thanks in advance

Honestly I dont think my body will ever be the same. A lot of that has to do with my lovely 11lb 'little' boy though. I was really huge by the end of pregnancy and it has left me with a lot of extra skin. Having 2 in two years and breastfeeding for 2.5 years may not have helped either. I'm pregnant again now so I keep going back for more, lol. I'm 35 too, I think sometimes its easier for younger womens bodies to get back to shape after. I did post natal exercises from youtube when I got close to a year after my 1st and noticed a big difference with my tummy muscles but thats when I got pregnant again.

I was fat before I got pregnant, so getting back to pre-pregnancy weight didn't really do much for me. I was around 118-120 when I graduated from college though, which was my goal postpartum, and I found that once I got down to that point I was pretty happy with how I looked. It did take me getting to around a BMI of 19-20 (pretty close to an underweight BMI) to get the mostly flat stomach again.

I'd say just keep losing weight until you're happy with how you look. It's usually easier to re-gain weight, so if you go lower than you like you can go back up. :flower:

thanks for the replies ladies. I guess everyone is different and I won't know until I get to the right weight :)
