Hi there,

After my little break from TTC.. Ive realised that I hardly know any of the new girlies in LTTC.

So just thought it might be nice to get to know everyone.

A little about me.

Im 29 and Mr S is also 29.
We were TTC for about 22 cycles after MC in April 2008. We had a break for a few months to get married.
Ive tried Clomid for 4 cycles which failed.
HSG showed clear tubes
DH's results:
Progressive motility 30%
Non-progressive 15%
Non-motile 55%
Concentration (x10) 41

Ive got another appointment with the FS 28th Feb and tbh I just know it will be 'bugger off until you 30'.

1 cycle of clomid - BFP May 2010 - Ended in MC June 10
2 cycle of clomid (Sept 10)??

Hi Samba,

DH and I are a bit older....I'm 33 and DH is 36. We've been ttc almost 2 years. I have a blocked tube, but my DH is perfect. Tried clomid a few cycles, but are the IVF track now.

Wishing you loads of luck at the FS. Gosh, February is so far away though! Hopefully, you might get a BFP before then!

Hi everyone!

I'm 31 (32 in November) and DH is 34. Been TTC since May 2008 but it took ages for my cycles to settle down after BCP. Consequently, we didn't really know there was a problem until about 2 years down the line. Got referred to a FS at the beginning of 2010 and went through all the usual tests, which were clear. So thought we'd end up being a case of 'unexplained'. But finally, my HSG in August showed that both my tubes are partially blocked. I have a lap & dye scheduled for next Monday to confirm this diagnosis. If they are blocked, we will be referred for IVF straight away and hopefully we'll get started by the New Year. If not, we will go into the 'unexplained' category and probably have to wait until next May to be referred for IVF.

Hiya, welcome back to the forum!! I really hope you get your BFP and a perfect bouncing baby very soon!

Im Maria, 28, DH is 35.
Been ttc a year. I was diagnosed with PCOS in May and don't really get my own cycles. Clomid made me ovulate 1st cycle, but no BFP. But failed 2nd cycle.
So far Ive been seeing private gyni (through insurance, miraculously!!) but we have an appointment with a GP this wednesday to be put on the NHS waiting list for further tests/treatment.
I will probably increase Clomid to 100mg next cycle and will also be going for scans to track those follies

I'm 27, DH is 30. We've been TTC for over a year now but I was diagnosed with PCOS in August after having irregular and long cycles. Turns out I don't ovulate on my own

We're currently trying Clomid. We're on our second round now as I failed to ovulate on the first round.

If we don't take this cycle we're going to look into getting HSG and SA testing done.

Hope I can butt in here Me 28 (3 months away from 29) and DH 32. We just got started on tests. DH's SA is ok - the number is lowish, but slightly higher than minimum. My HSG is in 4 days.
Foolishly thought I'd be holding a baby in my arms right now - but apparently not!

I'm 37 my DH is 48 so we are definitely older ttc'ing our 1st. We have been trying for almost 3 years now. I've had 3 cycles with clomid w/IUI, all bfn, 3 cycles of injectibles w/IUI, I had an abdominal myomectomy in January and my FS removed 9 fibroids. In April an HSG showed 1 blocked tube and scar tissue from surgery. I had surgery to remove the scar tissue in May, and had another HSG in june, everything looked much better. We have now been trying on our own since June and all bfn's. I have an appointment with my FS on Thursday to see what the next step is. Nice to meet you ladies.

I'm 24 and husband is 30. We live in Newcastle. Been TTC for 2 and a half years now.
Been seeing FS since Jan this year. Had various test that have come back with hubbys SA not good.
Mobility& mophology very very low. Doc gave us as estimated 0% chance of concievin naturally!
Pah!
Just been referred for ICSI and hoping to get that goin within the next 6 months *fingers crossed*
Leaning towards adoption due to extremely low success rates on ICSI
