Since we are having such a hard time deciding/agreeing I am putting my giant list up for comments. Feel free to tell me your fav's as well as the ones you dislike. My husbands only suggestion is Sailor Mae and I am not sold on that name!

I also like all the rest but my least favorites would be Carley and Whitley. Maybe if you shared your surname I could get a better idea, or a middle name? Overall, very good looking list!

I have to tell you, I am not anti-sailor but if you don't have a middle name already, how about Alexa Sailor? Jemma Sailor also has a cute ring to it. While I like Claire, I don't like Calire Sailor or Delaney Sailor. Victoria Sailor is also cute I think. It is and mature and beautiful and playful, quirky all at once.

oh, and Sheridan is nice but I don't like Sherry, to which it will likely be shortened. And Would Anastasia go by Stacy?

Our last name is Harris...so Claire may be a mouth full. I was thinking Danni nn for Sheridan and Annie (family name) for Anastasia. I like the idea of Alexa Sailor. Is Heidi too 1970's? I know it peaked in popularity around the time I was born.

Alexa Sailor Harris could also be nn Ash. Cute. I am not too fond of Heidi. It isn't terrible or anything but I think it is because I know one and she is about 10 years older than I am and just always saw that name as well, as you mentioned, 70s.

From your list I LOVE...Lilah, Scarlett, Heidi and Delilah all very pretty girly names which age well I think.

I totally dislike Rowan and Sheridan which are boys names imo. Not keen on Whitley (too much like Whitney which reminds me of Eastenders - if you're in the UK, quite "chavvy") and Anastasia just reminds me of the singer, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I wouldn't use it myself.

How about Jemima?? A mixture of Jemma and Delilah....maybe it'll remind you too much of Jemima Puddleduck (a character from Beatrix Potter I think???!!)

I like Genevieve and Eliza best from your list...

I really like unusual names, but ones that are recognisable as names and not too 'made up' - if you know what I mean. For example, Delaney and Everleigh would be a bit too 'out there' for me (just because I've never heard of them being used as first names before). I also agree that Rowan and Sheridan feel more like boys names to me...

you've got plenty of beautiful options, though, I'm sure you'll pick what is right for your wee one!
