Hi,

Bella is 1 next month, over the past couple of months shes gradualy cut herself down on how much milk she takes throughout the day. She used to have:

1 bottle when she woke around 7am
Breakfast around 9am
Bottle around 11am
Dinner around 12
Bottle about 3pm
Tea around 5pm
Bottle at bed around 6.30pm

She then cut out the bottle in the afternoon and now she's cut out the one before dinner too so all she has is one in the morning and one before bed, the past week she hasn't even woke up during the night for one.

I guess what i'm asking is is this normal for them to decide to self wean off the milk? I expected to have to do it but everytime i offer her a bottle in the day, she gags and pushes it away.

She has a very varied diet, but some days she'll eat more than others.

Thanks ladies :)

Try her with cows milk when she turns one hun and maybe before that just give her her usual bottle before bed. When shes one you could try mixing a scoop of formula with cows milk? xxx
