Glucose in Urine

Hi ladies, my doctor just left me a voicemessage saying that my urine sample had some glucose in it. She didn't say anything else.

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if this is something to be concerned about? Any insight would be much appreciated.

At my midwife appointment last week my urine sample was 'loaded' with sugar, G+++. So I was send for a GTT 2days later to see if it was Gestational Diabeties. Iv heard nothing back which means I passed and im GD free.
I think it was just a fluke I had that much because of what id eaten the day before (just tons of carbs!) Which turns to sugar! Good luck x

I almost always have glucose++ or glucose+++ in my urine when I'm pregnant. It can be a sign of gestational diabetes but it can also be down to what you've eaten (if you've had something sugary or carbs; if I have a morning appointment I know that my breakfast of toast and a sugary cup of tea will land me in trouble ) or other factors.
