Is it supposed to not make you feel good? I had mine this morning and ever since ive felt nauseous and have had a headache.:nope:

I just got mine today too! I felt like shit the first hour or so then after they got a blood sample and I was allowed to eat I ate something and that really made it better. I had a headache and nausea and a racing heart and it just sucked.

The drink hurt my stomach, but i dont think it should make that happen. have you had issues with diabetes before maybe?

I have mine on Friday and I am really hoping that I don't feel like crap afterwards since I have to go on an hour drive after the appointment to stay the night at my OH's house. But then again if I do feel like crap it gives me an excuse to not stay the night there and he stays at my house haha.

Does anyone know if everyone gets like that afterwards or if it is different for everyone?

Mine gave me a bit of a headache then after I felt SOOO tired, but I think it was just cause of all the sugar in it, energy drinks do the same thing to me.

I didn't get a glucose test  Is this something they only do in America? xx

I think it is everywhere not just USA, but I am not positive. It is a test to see if you have gestational diabities so I would think everyone gets it done

Yeah, getting a glucose test is pretty much the norm. It's to make sure you don't get gestational diabetes which would be bad for you and LO. Maybe ask your OB/MW?

They do it in the UK if they need to do it, they test your bloods and know by them if you need the test for it or not x

I'm in UK and my midwife told me it was a standard thing? You usually have it around 28 weeks.
I felt fine though? You're supposed to wait an hour from drinking the lucozade but I only waited half hour because I forgot to drink it before I came! Oops.
But yeah, I felt fine. Maybe it's because you're not used to that level of glucose or something, I have been drinking cola all the way through my pregnancy so I'm probably used to it. xx
