Just found out Im pregnant with baby #3.
Im pretty sure (like 99% sure) I have IGT.
With my first I wasnt able to nurse. I didnt produce ANYTHING.
With my second, I was producing a small small amount. But only after I took 30 Fenugreek/day. I know pumping isnt a good indicator, but I would nurse my son from both sides, then pump for a good 10-15 minutes/side and it took me 24 hours, pumping every 2 hours, to get an ounce of milk when he was almost 2 months old. Obviously we were heavily supplementing with formula because there was no other option.
This time, I want to try Goats Rue and possibly Domperidone. I would love to hear your experiences on either.
Not being able to nurse my babies is something that I have taken very hard. Because just about everyone just assumes that I didnt try hard enough. I tried with all my heart, everything I could. It just doesnt work for me. Im hoping that maybe with the goats rue and domperidone I might be able to give my baby a little more of my milk this time and not so much formula.
