 That's what it feels like with Hannah. She's never been a big milk drinker and actually fights all bottles except her morning one. She'll take some formula through a sippy cup and it is offered throughout the day but still not nearly as much as it would be if she'd just take a bottle! We've finally resorted to dream feeding her again! At 8 months old :dohh:

Not sure what to suggest hon as I never had this problem. If anything, Amanda and Jayden loved their milk more than solids. Chase is the same way somewhat, yet there are times when he pushes his milk away and I put that down to teething.

You've also got an active baby and she probably wants to play more than she wants to sit and drink a bottle.

She would definitely rather play than sit and eat a bottle. She actually pushes it away with her hands, we have to hold her down when/if we happen to try to feed her in the afternoons  Sometimes if we are lucky and get it in before she gets to mad she'll eat

I wonder if you should get her those vitamin drops hon?

I know Chase is getting to that stage where he's very nosey. As he drinks a bottle, if he hears a sound, kid's or dad's voices, he wants to sit up. Feeding takes a long time now. LOL

I need to look into it.......she's on they very very minimum amount of formula (but than again she always has been so I guess I shouldn't be surprised).

Have you tried the flavored formulas ? max went off his milk and ive got him on toddler formula with extra vits that tastes like vanilla ..they also have strawberry ..hes back to drinking 20 oz a day or more

no.....not yet. My niece did this and now her daughter will only drink milk if it has strawberry syrup in it

thats cause she didnt wan her off it lol I will be mixing some regular milk in max;s soon .

speak of the brat he just woke up lol

I wouldn't push it so much and probably get vitamin drops as Leeanne suggested. Interestingly, when I completely took away Alasdair's middle feed (he used to have milk at 7am, 2.30pm and 6pm) he started drinking more in the morning and at night. Fluke maybe! He has about 12oz now but we weren't even getting to 10 most days when I was trying to give him a middle feed.

We don't push the mid day feed--if she takes it great, if she doesn't I don't stress it. (it's just the getting it in that is a fight  sometimes we get it in and she'll stop fussing and drink it). At night she refuses unless we dream feed her!! but that's okay at least she gets the formula. Mornings are great though, we have no problems there. honestly I think she's weaning herself off of her bottle

Does she do this thing where she insists on being sat up to feed? Alasdair looks like a lamb! Morning feeds are the easiest with us too...must be the hungriness!

during the day if she takes it yes....in the mornings I'm not sure Stan does that feed and he does the dream feed at night, I actually very rarely give Hannah a bottle now
