BF Moms,

What are some good foods to eat for my baby?

Tired of eating the usual, Chicken, Steak, Burgers etc...

I need some enriched foods, packed with nutrients.

I'm not a health food fanatic and I'm not trying to be one.

I still supplement my vitamins, eat my fruits/veggies.

What else is good.

Example: Power shakes (what kinds) there are all kinds out there, could you recommend some.
Great Meals, Snacks and more.....

Anything that you can suggest is fine.

That diet sounds awesome. Those are all great things to have!

If you notice baby starting to have some serious fussy times, you may consider eliminating things like dairy, peanuts, strawberries, chocolate, etc. Those are the things that babies tend to have the most problems with from BF'ing mamas.

Also note, just as in pregnancy, your baby got all the nutrients they needed from you. So you should just eat healthy for you in both situations... not like eating for two - ya know?

Shoot for 1800 calories, lots of protein, decent fiber and vitamins which you are!

Great job!

Something that I've just realized by working with a personal trainer, I haven't been eating enough calories. I'm only eating about 1400 a day and should be eating 2000 (based on my activity level)!

So True, I'll just think of it, as if I was carrying her all over again.

Alright, so I'll just eat my regular way.

I can eat.... Just thought I was missing something, a little extra for my baby.

Thanks,
Mello
